Licensing & disclosures

Last updated: 2026-05-05. State licenses, broker disclosures, compensation transparency.

State insurance licenses

TMRW Benefits is a licensed insurance brokerage headquartered in New York. The principal broker, Jesse Yoskowitz, is licensed as an insurance producer in the following states:

  • New York
  • New Jersey
  • Connecticut

Additional state licenses may apply for specific products. Contact us with your target state to confirm licensing and product availability.

Broker compensation disclosure (No Surprises Act)

Federal No Surprises Act amendments (effective late 2021) require broker compensation disclosure to ERISA group health plan sponsors. TMRW Benefits earns compensation from insurance carriers in the form of commissions and, in some cases, override compensation paid by carriers based on placed business volume. Specific compensation rates vary by carrier, product, and state.

For ERISA group health clients, TMRW provides written compensation disclosure documents prior to service engagement, in accordance with Section 408(b)(2) of ERISA as amended by the No Surprises Act.

Carrier appointments

TMRW Benefits maintains direct carrier appointments with multiple major medical and ancillary insurance carriers. Specific carrier appointments and product availability vary by state. The current list includes (but is not limited to):

  • Major medical: Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield / Anthem, PHCS, QualCare
  • Dental: Delta Dental, MetLife Dental
  • Vision: VSP Vision
  • Other ancillary, supplemental, and lifestyle: Additional carriers across life, disability, hospital indemnity, critical illness, accident, identity theft, pet insurance, and mental health Teladoc

The complete carrier appointment list is available on request.

Conflict of interest disclosure

As an independent broker, TMRW Benefits is compensated by insurance carriers for placed coverage. This compensation structure may create incentives to recommend products from carriers with higher commission rates. TMRW commits to placing client interests first when recommending coverage, and discloses material compensation conflicts upon request.

Regulatory authority

TMRW Benefits' insurance brokerage activities are regulated by the New York State Department of Financial Services (NY DFS) and the corresponding state insurance regulators in each state where we hold a producer license. To verify our license status, file a complaint, or check broker disciplinary records, contact your state insurance regulator:
