Fully-insured plan
A health plan where the employer pays a fixed premium to a carrier, and the carrier assumes all claims risk. Predictable monthly cost. The carrier keeps any unused premium dollars (no employer refund). Most common funding model for small businesses.Last reviewed: · TMRW Benefits is a benefits brokerage, not a tax or legal advisor.
