HDHP (High-Deductible Health Plan)
A plan with a higher deductible and lower premiums, designed to be paired with a Health Savings Account (HSA). The IRS sets minimum deductible and maximum out-of-pocket thresholds annually for HSA-qualifying HDHPs. HDHPs work best for healthy people who want tax-advantaged savings and do not expect frequent care.Last reviewed: · TMRW Benefits is a benefits brokerage, not a tax or legal advisor.
